In 2014, the Madiran of Cyclists Association consisted of 34 members including 29 licensees (21 men, 1 boy, 6 women, 1 girl) since we had the pleasure of welcoming three new licensees including 2 youth. Our club has a walking group, which circulates in Madiran, or around, but also in walks organized by other clubs …

This year we renewed our cycling clothes, which became blue, through local partners: the Paloque Bakery, Bar Restaurant the ESTANQUET, garage Renault Vettorel, the Cave of Crouseilles but also transport Bigourdans DUBERTRAND, Groupama , and Super U.

We started our season cyclo January 15 to perform 35 bike outings throughout the year, while the walking group started January 5 to 23 outputs in total.

These hikes, the club moved to the neighbors clubs, such as Juillan, Riscle, Rabastens Aire sur Adour, Nouilhan, Maubourguet, Perchède, Eugénie-les Bains, Laloubère, Masseube, Andrest, Piacenza, Tarbes …

To complete our calendar of activities, we have also organized:

-a snowshoeing in La Mongie February 9,

-The garage sale May 25,

-a cyclo club exit and walk to the closed bar-restaurant l’Estanquet,

-the hike “the Madiranaise” in Castle Crouseilles, September 14.

On the occasion of flea, bad weather and early morning forced us to change our organization and the bar is housed in the Sports Hall, while the restoration was held in a marquee at the back of this room ; positive report because we could welcome 70 exhibitors and income sun, many visitors joined us.

This year the Madiranaise was held at Castle Crouseilles, like every other year, on the occasion of the Harvest Festival; True success, 200 participants were able to appreciate the context, reception in the lobby of the cellar, snack in Viella, at Mr. LANUSSE and the castle of entertainment and dinner in the park.

La MADIRANAISE

The 15th hiking in the Madiran vineyards will take place Sunday, September 20, 2015.

Regulations: This tour is subject to the regulations of the FFCT and open to all cyclists, licensed or not. Parental consent is required for unaccompanied minors. Each participant must be considered as being in personal tour and comply with the Highway Code and the instructions of the organizers. This hike is not a competition, no time or ranking will be published. Participants receive from a road map that should inform and keep on them. Participation implies acceptance of these Regulations. Wearing a helmet is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.

Organization: Registration will take place from 7 am to 9 am, in the courtyard of the school. Free for licensees and € 3 for non-licensees. A contribution of € 3 is requested for all (coffee, snacks, awards ...). There are 3 marked trails: 41, 62, 75 km and 10 km run course. A crust breaks will take place in the area to Poujo Aydie winemakers. A reception and awards around 12:30 in the school yard. Will follow a meal served on board at 13h in the hall. (€ 12 adults, € 6 for children under 12 years)
