The ceremony of May 8th proceeded as from 11:45 with the presence of the veterans, of the children of the school and Mr. LAMARQUE, director, of the town council and Madiranais come to collect itself in front of the war memorial. After having listened to the message of the Secretary of State in charge of the veterans, the song of the partisans and the Marseillaise were sung, then everyone was found with the market, to share the reception offered by the municipality.
