Organic reconversion
To limit all excesses that one can meet on a vineyard and consolidate their philosophy of the culture of the vine, the vineyard of 15 hectares is in Organic reconversion since 2011. The Damiens vineyard is at the bottom of typical bell-tower of the church of Aydie which a writer celebrates had called “St Jean of the Vines” (first name blessed like that of the grandfather to baptize their great vintage).
Présentation
Since 3 generations, the Damiens vineyard kept the family tradition of the culture of the vine by putting it “at the last styles”, while perpetuating the style of type of vines and soils.
With the vine not of receipt…. “Soft” methods make it possible to work vegetative balance for the best maturity of grapes.
With the wine store house not of receipt… to do everything so that this work is expressed. It results from it from the often quoted wines, where the year and the vine grower have their word to say…
Pierre–Michel BEHEITY succeeds his father Andre at the origin of the vineyard with his grandfather Jean.
